This quilt is done in patriotic print fabrics and features a single navy blue Pinwheel block with a tan star button in the center. It has a tan background, a red outer border with navy blue corners, and navy blue binding. It is hand quilted, mounted on a gold/tan acid-free matboard, and framed under glass with spacers to lift the glass away from the quilt.
This patriotic Pinwheel block is also featured in my 'Four Seasons' quilt. It reminds me of the Fourth of July, a quintessential American celebration.
