Angel's Gift - introduced in October 2009

This design features a favorite folkart icon, an Angel in Flight.  With this design, I wanted to capture the spirit of giving.  I thought the best way to do that was to depict her reaching out to offer a special gift, a star.  Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Pumpkins - introduced in October 2009

When I think of Fall, I always think of Pumpkins.  This little Pumpkin quilt is my newest tribute to that wonderful Fall icon.  It reminds me of a fun collection of little "spook" pumpkins.  Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Sheep - introduced in October 2009

Farm animals are always popular folkart subjects.  One of my favorites is the sheep, both black ones and white ones.  When I designed this piece, I wanted my Woolly Sheep to be a distinguished barnyard animal proudly sporting a colorful quilt blanket.   I plan to vary the sheep's color and blanket patterns on other versions of this design.  Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Old School Traditions - introduced in October 2009

The traditional Schoolhouse quilt block has always been one of my favorite old blocks.  I am always attracted to antique quilts featuring this block, especially those done in reds and whites.  While looking through some of my favorite quilt books, I was inspired to design my own version of a traditional Schoolhouse quilt.  My version includes a little Variable Star embedded in the center of the quilt and a star button added to each Schoolhouse.  I think it pays humble homage to a timeless tradition.    Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Baltimore Oriole - introduced in May 2009

The sight of a Baltimore Oriole in our yard is always a treat.   They like to nest in the sycamore trees not far away from us.  The Oriole is such beautiful bird, I just had to add it to my Songbirds collection.  Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Cardinal - introduced in May 2009

The Cardinal is probably one of the most recognizable birds in America with a beauty that is unsurpassed.  Seeing a group of Cardinals at our birdfeeders after a pretty snow lifts our hearts and always gives us cause to give our thanks once again to Mother Nature.  Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Chickadee - introduced in May 2009

My Songbirds collection wouldn't be complete without the sweet little Chickadee.   With its distinctive markings and cheerful chirps, it is a welcomed sight at our birdfeeders.   Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Goldfinch - introduced in May 2009

When we see the brilliant gold of the Goldfinches, we know Spring has arrived.  We enjoy seeing them at the thistle feeders all Summer, but watching their acrobatics while feeding on the dried flower heads in the Fall, is a treat.  Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Indigo Bunting - introduced in May 2009

The sight of an Indigo Bunting is an exciting event at our house.  We just don't get to see them very often.  With its brilliant blue markings, I thought it would make a wonderful addition to my Songbirds collection.Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.
