Spring Garden - introduced in April 2008
Nothing says "Spring is here!" like a garden filled with colorful tulips. Although my "Spring Tulips" quilt featuring two tulips was introduced in 2007, I decided to celebrate the season again in 2008 with this new quilt featuring a whole row of pretty tulips. Little Pine - introduced in April 2008
I can never seem to get enough of quilts featuring trees. This design is actually the same little tree that I use in my "Christmas Tree" quilt, but I've elminiated the Christmas accents (hand quilted garland with a star on top). Instead, I finished the piece with standard outline quilting and accented the quilt corners with tiny buttons, making it a little tree quilt for all seasons. YoYo 9-Patch - introduced in March 2008
On a recent shopping trip, I fell in love with some YoYo table runners that I saw and decided I had to see what I could do with YoYo's myself. While it's not actually a quilt block in the traditional sense of the word, the YoYo has long been a favorite among quilters as a fun way to use up scraps of fabric. I assembled my YoYo's in a classic 9-patch quilt arrangement and added another design dimension to them with coordinating buttons. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Pinwheel 9-Patch - introduced in February 2008
To me, the Pinwheel block is one of the most whimsical quilt blocks around. It reminds me of happy and carefree childhood days. For this quilt, I chose to work with two bold colors and feature the Pinwheel block in a 9-patch arrangement, one of the most recognizable block arrangements in traditional quilts. Shining Star - introduced in March 2008
This quilt features a free-form country star sewn atop a patchwork quilt top using a traditional blanket stitch. This is my first quilt design incorporating an applique feature. It's fun to do, and I'm sure there will be more to come. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Pinwheel Delight - introduced in February 2008
Turning the traditional Pinwheel block into a spinning whirligig is what makes this piece one of my favorites. The monochromatic color scheme gives the quilt drama, while the checkerboard border gives it a warm country charm. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Log Cabin Star - introduced in February 2008
This little quilt features a Log Cabin block with a Variable Star block in the center. When it comes to combining blocks, I think these are a perfect pair. The Log Cabin block provides a colorful 'scrappy' feel while the Star block in the center anchors the quilt with a strong graphic image. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Star-in-a-Star - introduced in November 2007
The Star-in-a-Star block has been on my inspiration list for quite some time. Starting with this strong graphic block in the center, I simply added border after border in coordinating fabrics to create a layered framing effect. I think it's a perfect way to celebrate a great quilt block. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

Radiant Star - introduced in November 2007
This quilt features the wonderful Star-in-a-Star block turned on-point. I kept the design very simple and limited the color scheme to just two strong colors. I think it nicely demonstrates the "less is more" concept. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.

O' Christmas Tree - introduced in November 2007
This is my newest Christmas quilt that celebrates one of the most recognized symbols of the holiday season, the Christmas Tree. Each tree is topped with a cheerful little star and "adorned" with a simple quilted garland. I think it says "Merry Christmas" quite well. Click here for more details in the Quilt Gallery.
